We Have been in Rottweilers since 1988; I started off with just one for a pet. In 1994 we bought a male from the Azilian kennels of Sue and Paul Martin. We attended a few shows with him and that’s when we were bitten by the show bug.

We have now been accepted as members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme. This ensures that members of the scheme adhere to certain conditions with regards to the health of the parents and puppies. For more information on the scheme visit the Kennel Club website.

We have gone on to have bred or owned dogs who have achieved multiple 1st placings at championship level. My foundation bitch HARDRADA TRUE GRIT AT MAGGLYNN won many firsts and best puppy in breed at champ show level, along the way gaining her j.w, 1 res cc, and 1 green star and winning a first at Crufts dog Show. From her first litter to HANBAR NEXUS came the next crop of winners. MAGGLYNN MY GIRL ( Hanbar Nexus x Hardrada True Grit at Magglynn ) has won multiple firsts at champ show level and to date has won a best in show at the Midland Rottweiler Club 2004 open Show also gaining her stud book number.

Her Brother MAGGLYNN BISHOP FINGER another dog who has won well winning a res cc at The Midland Rottweiler Club 2004 Champ show and gaining his stud book number. We have bought in well bred bitches from the HANARAH and UPEND kennels that have both done a lot of winning for us. UPEND LETS GIGGLE AT MAGGLYNN won best puppy in show at the Midland Rottweiler Club Silver Jubilee champ show. From her first litter to ROUGEAU MATTY five went to show homes and still only being inpuppy have achieved some great success flying the Magglynn banner in 2005.

Our aim is to establish a kennel that has quality in depth and to breed dogs that can win well for us and for others who buy them and our record speaks for it. We want to breed dogs that have the right type and temperament while keeping all the qualities Rottweilers are renound for and the reason why we were attracted to the breed . All my stock is hip scored and health tested . We are still a small kennel but have managed to compete at the highest level and are best is still to come.
